Every year, the Apparel Industry throws away a huge amount of textile waste (shredded textile) – resulting from the mass production – all this material ends up in landfills, overburdening them even more and contaminating the soil.
The textile waste can also contaminate wastewater, because it goes through many dyeing and treatment processes using chemicals.
Recycling of textile waste is the best way to reduce pollution, instead of disposing it into the environment.
JF Fibras é one of the largest textile waste processing industries in the country and our work is to collect and process the textile waste, transforming it into raw material for new products as:
Denim Reprocessed Fiber
Reprocessed Fiber
Synthetic Reprocessed Fiber
Acrylic Reprocessed Fiber
Among others for the Automotive and Furniture Industries.
1,600,000 Kg of Textile Waste is recycled per month, removing more than 19 thousand tons per year. Know all the products developed by JF FIBRAS on the website.

Textile Waste Recycling Process

The textile waste recycling process starts with the Material Collection in Apparel Industry, Selection and Cleaning, so the production process of different raw material can start.
